Although little to no downtime will be required for recovery, we still recommend best practices that you should follow to properly take care of your skin post treatment. We recommend avoiding direct sunlight and strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours. Furthermore, it’s also recommended for patients to avoid consuming alcohol for 1-2 days after treatment. It’s likely that you may experience mild swelling or bruising in the treated area. This can be easily reduced by applying an ice pack onto your nose.
How long the filler lasts may vary from patient to patient. The long-lasting effect of tear trough rejuvenation depends on how quickly each individual patients’ body dissolves the fillers. However, the average time that the positive effects last for range between 6-12 months before a top-up treatment may be required.
