The Treatment

If you are suffering from excess sweating, it’s likely that you need treatment with us.  After we have met with you for the initial consultation at our state-of-the-art clinic and gone through the procedure, side effects and benefits of the treatment in full detail, we will then ask for your consent and book you in for treatment day.  The treatment itself works by decreasing the transmission of the nerve impulses to the sweat glands, in turn decreasing the amount you sweat.  Surgical and other procedures that we offer as part of your comprehensive hyperhidrosis treatment plan may include microwave therapy and muscle relaxing injections.  These injections will help to temporarily block the nerve that is causing the sweating with the effects lasting for between 6-12 months.
