Dermal Fillers

Treatment time can vary depending on a few factors.  On average, the procedure normally takes anywhere from between 20-45 minutes but it may take slightly less or more depending on the area being treated and if you have had previous treatments in the past.  While your face is being treated, we can also apply anesthetic creams and injections that can be applied to numb the skin for a much more comfortable treatment.

You’ll be glad to know that the vast majority of patients that we treat for dermal fillers suffer little side effects after treatment.  It is completely normal for patients to experience swollenness on the treated area but this should naturally calm down within 1-2 days post treatment.  As always with all our facial aesthetic treatments, we will give you a full aftercare plan so that you can properly look after your skin in the best way possible.

Dermal fillers are generally not painful, although the amount of discomfort depending on the areas being treated.  If you are being treated for dermal fillers around the lips or nose, you may experience some discomfort as these are generally the most uncomfortable areas to have dermal fillers.  However, we will make the experience as pleasant as we possibly can and use anesthetic to numb the treated areas.
