Porcelain Veneers are thin, custom-made facings of tooth-coloured materials designed to bond to the front side of teeth to improve the appearance of teeth. They help to give you a chance to have a new confident and beautiful smile.

When can Porcelain Veneers be used?

To correct poorly formed or misaligned teeth

 To close spaces between teeth

 To mask very stained teeth

To restore partially broken-down or chipped teeth

What is the procedure for Porcelain Veneers?

Tooth preparation is minimal and confined to the top layer of the tooth (enamel). A mould of the tooth is taken and is sent to the dental lab so the veneers can be crafted by highly skilled technicians. At the next appointment the veneer is bonded to the tooth with tooth-coloured resin cement. Patients should be aware that this is usually an irreversible process because it’s necessary to remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth to accommodate the shell. Our dentists will advise if veneers are suitable for your teeth.
