After securing distinctions, four gold medals and earning graduate of the year award, Dr Hamid qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 2002. He completed postgraduate specialisation in prosthodontics in 2015, which led him to pursue a Masters in Clinical Dentistry. He has held various hospital and academic posts primarily in Oral Surgery at Imperial College NHS Trust, Kings College Hospital, Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals. Dr Hamid’s expertise in complex dental implants, restorative dentistry and advanced oral surgery has produced countless smile transformations; he is a gentle and passionate dentist who believes in offering the level of dental care that he would offer to his family and friends. Dr Hamid considers your dental needs, personality and life goals when developing your personalised cosmetic dental plan. With special interests in aesthetics, management of tooth surface loss and full mouth rehabilitation he will ensure your fully comfortable and supported throughout this journey. He aims to perform procedures under local anaesthesia or IV sedation in the primary care setting. Dr Hamid outside of dentistry is devoted to volunteering for Humanity First. He is one of the key organisers and part of a specialist medical and dental team that perform life changing head and neck operations in The Gambia, multiple times a year.
